For Regions

The Everyone Plays® Grant Program was launched by the AYSO W.H.E.N! Foundation as an emergency response to the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result of 2020 Spring registration refunds and non-refundable expenses due to required closures (i.e.: field permits, uniforms, etc.), AYSO’s nearly 800 Regions have lost approximately $9 million in revenue. This will leave many of our players without a team, field, or safe place to play when Covid-19 closure policies are lifted. The W.H.E.N! Foundation seeks to provide Everyone Plays® Grants to AYSO Regions experiencing Covid-19 hardships, and ultimately ensure that when we’re allowed back on the field, every child gets the opportunity to play.

Scholarship and Grant recipients will be announced in August 2020, when the Everyone Plays Challenge is completed and our Grants Review Committee has reviewed/evaluated all applications.  Please note, as much as we would like to fulfill all requests, we have limited funds and will make determinations based on demonstrated need and criteria stated in the application form.

With a nearly 15% unemployment rate across the country, many of our AYSO families have been adversely affected by this economic downturn and may not have the resources to cover registration fees for the Fall.

The W.H.E.N! Foundation seeks to provide Everyone Plays® Scholarships to assist with registration fees for AYSO families experiencing Covid-19 hardships, and ultimately ensure that when we’re allowed back on the field, every child gets the opportunity to play.
